This four-day course will offer you a basic anatomical overview, as it relates to the healing properties of herbs. The emphasis will be on readily available herbs local to the Southwestern Bio-region; participate in wild crafting; help to plant and design an herbal garden; gain hands on experience learning about how herbs are appropriately prepared. Course time will be divided into lectures and experiential learning, including plant hikes and plant propagation. Our time together will conclude in a celebration of nutritional lifestyles with farm fresh food and inspiring company.

Tuition: $300/ student (lunches and herbal beverages included)
This one-day class will be an introduction to the permaculture ethics, principles, and methodologies. Emphasis will be placed on Site Assessment, invisible structures, and community development. Class time will be divided into both lecture and experiential learning.
